COMMUNITY CONCERT for SPARTAN STADIUM

You're invited to attend a special Community Concert for Spartan Stadium to be held on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 inside the historic Spartan (Universal) Stadium, Portsmouth Ohio.

From bluegrass to folk, to country and rock music, a balanced blend of live entertainment should appeal to everyone; presented by several well-known artists.

Headliners "Flint" were voted the number one band by the Portsmouth Daily Times 2004 Readers Choice Awards. The band is set to take the stage at 9:00 p.m.

Also appearing throughout the day, Steve Free & The Whole Band, Donna Cunningham and Band, The Ranch Hand Band, Clear Conscience, Panic Strikken, Dewey Howard & Big Run, Purple Jester, and End of the Road.

The community concert for Spartan Stadium is designed so that all area residents and visitors can afford to attend and enjoy the best concert event of the summer; as well as help restore the historic stadium.

General admission is only $3.00 for the entire concert. Additional donations excepted!

All proceeds from ticket sales, concessions and concert t-shirts go directly to the City of Portsmouth to help restore Spartan Stadium. Tickets will be on sale at the stadium box office at 11:00 a.m. the day of the concert. The concert begins at 1:00 p.m.
