Members of the Portsmouth Spartans Football team, which includes the famous Glenn Presnell, Ironton Tank star and All-American, will go on exhibition here Tuesday morning at Beechwood Stadium.

The full Spartan squad is to be taken on three good-will tours to be made to neighboring cities, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week,

The squad will be divided into two elevens, and Coach Potsy Clark will put the team through a number of formations for the edification of the fans in the cities to be invaded.

The first day's stops include Ironton, Ashland and Huntington. Coach Clark states that there is one thing which he is going to insist upon, and that is for the team to be back in Portsmouth not later than 4 p.m. so the team can put in two hours of football practice after they return from the trips.

Portsmouth merchants will accompany the Spartans on these jaunts and will show the fans how much they think of football. It is expected that 75 merchants will have cars in the motor cavalcade, and they will have banners advertising their stores and team on the machines.
