PORTSMOUTH, O., Nov. 26- The Spartans, in spite of their defeat at the hands of the New York Giants several weeks ago in New York, made such a hit with New York fans, that Dr. Harry Marsh, one of the owners of the Giants, wired the Spartan management Tuesday, offering the local eleven another game in New York.

The Giants would like to play the Spartans in New York, Dec. 13, but this is the date of the Green Bay game here. The Spartan management wired Dr. Marsh that the local eleven would be glad to play the Giants in New York or any place after the Green Bay game here.
